Thank you to everyone who joined me at my Meet the Candidate event on Thursday. I truly appreciated the support, the conversations, and the thoughtful questions you brought forward.

We covered a wide range of topics important to residents, including the School Bus Challenges, Pickleball Courts, Commercial Tax Rates, Senior Tax Freeze, and the Food Pantry. I’ve shared commentary on several of these issues on my website, and I’ll continue adding more throughout the campaign season or whenever people ask for my input.

We also talked about something deeper: the divided nature of politics today. Many of you expressed how tired you are of party‑driven decision‑making at the local level. I share that feeling. My goal is to help bridge that gap and remove the idea of political parties from the decisions we make as a Town Council. Local government works best when we focus on the issues, listen to residents, and make choices based on what strengthens Smithfield, not on party labels.

Thank you again for your support as I run to support our community. Smithfield is strongest when we work together.
